Karl-Johan "Kamu" Stråhlmann, Naval Architect,Designer FG 331/37/41/46
The designphilosophy of Finngulf Yachts has always been the same;high-performance cruisers with uncompromised quality. The boats dowell in major Scandinavian regattas. 'When I started designing thenew range, we agreed that the boats have to be even faster thanbefore, be lighter, with more sail area and beamier, especially atthe stern. But no compromise could be given in the area of solidnessand living comfort. Besides that we have very shallow waters here, especially in Finland, and I have paid much attention to make thestructures withstand typical groundings', says Karl-Johan Stråhlmann, the designer of the current range of Finngulf Yachts: 331, 37, 41and 46.
