FG Trophy

The Finngulf Trophy family racing event has been arranged every year since September 2005.The first year we had 14 boats starting, while the last two events have seen attendance soar to over 30 boats. The nature of the event is "relaxed family racing", hence no spinnakers/gennakers have been allowed. The race course is a 20-30nM "round the islands" type archipelago course with a typical time to finish being between 4 and 6 hours. The race is capped by non formal festivities on Saturday night.

FG Trophy History

The overall victory of the Finngulf Trophy has been claimed by a variety of different yachts and crews over the past years. We congratulate all the winners (and all other participants too for that matter), and furthermore note that whatever model and vintage your Finngulf may be, do participate because first of all it's great fun, and secondly - as the results show, it's not the yacht but rather the crew that makes for a winning entry.

Year 2011 will see us reinventing the event - stand by for updates on this site.
